Curious what’s blasting through Team Injinji Athletes’ headphones this winter? We’ve got the inside scoop. These 27 inspiring songs are what keep them running, hiking, adventuring and crushing cold-weather miles.

We asked every Team Injinji Athlete to share their favorite training track, the one that gets them moving, smiling and maybe even breaking into a trail dance From feel-good throwbacks to high-energy anthems, here’s what’s playing through their headphones this month.

Each selected track has a little story behind it. Curious about the inspiration behind these tunes?

Courtney Dauwalter: “Don’t Stop Me Now” by Queen. I always include this one on my running playlists because it’s upbeat, fun to sing along to and puts a smile on my face.

Mike Wardian: "Vagabond" by Caamp. I love that the song is about wandering

Scott LaRuffa: "East Bound and Down" by Jerry Reed. Part of the lyrics are, ‘We gonna do what they say can’t be done. We’ve got a long way to go and a short time to get there.’ I like this part of the song for a run where I’m trying to get faster than an old guy like me should!

Megan Anderson: "Days on End" by Brenn. Part of the lyrics are, "Do the mountains call your name louder than I did?" and I love listening when I'm hiking or trail running.

Mike McKnight: "What It Sounds Like" by Anthony Vincent. This is a cover of the KPop Demon Hunter song, but it's in the style of Linkin Park. I love this song because it's talking about embracing everything about who you are. The good and even the bad.

Jonathan Andrade: "Start A Riot" by Duckwrth and Shaboozey on the Spiderman: Into the Spider-Verse soundtrack. “Start a Riot” makes you feel like you can save the world. If this song doesn't get you hyped for a run, you don't have a pulse!

Corinne Shalvoy: "12 to 12" by Sombr Dance vibes, an addictive beat, and a reminder that sometimes we run from 12-12

Jenna O'HoranWalking On Sunshine by Katrina and the Waves. My favorite song to run to or workout. Every time it comes up on my play list, I feel extra happy and get a burst of energy!

Tami Fandrei: Vampire Bat by Glass Animals.

Araceli Chaira: “Fireworks” by Animal Collective. They are my all-time favorite band, and the beat at the beginning always pumps me up when I have to crush miles on a long day.

Butch Slabach: “The View Between Villages” by Noah Kahan. I love this song because it tells the story of returning home and the mixed feelings that can come with going back — the peace, memories, hardships. The song slowly builds, capturing all these different emotions.

Dalton McCurdy: "You're Gonna Go Far" by Noah Kahan and Brandi Carlile. I love both artists and, as we head back into headlamp season, it's been nice to bring some "friends" along for the dark and lonely miles.

Parker Farabee: June by De'Wayne. I love the nostalgic feel and high energy beat that keeps me running hard.

Tara Warren: “Free (Acoustic)” From Florence and the machine. To me, the most basic form of running feels like dancing. That along with the rhythm of this beautiful song, the lyrics truly make me feel free. And running free that’s all I could ever hope for.

Max Taylor: Good Ol’ Days by Hayley Williams. It just perfectly matches the energy of my fall runs and how I’ve been feeling training as it gets dark and cold.

CP Pruitt: Boys Wanna BHer” by Peaches! I love its energy, attitude and message of confidence. It flips gender expectations in a sometimes-male-dominated sport!

Ashley Woods: "From Now On” by Hugh Jackman from The Greatest Showman soundtrack. I love this song because there's a great buildup that ends in a celebration and a return to your "why.”

Steven Estremera: Gold by Dierks Bentley. Because to me it relates to how amazing and lucky we are to hit the trails and explore, as the song goes, “it looks like gravel, but it feels like gold.”

Justin Grunewald: Runaway by The National. The lyrics and subdued feel of this song really resonate with me in longer races like 100k-100m with all the ups and downs and everything in-between.

Tasha Swartley: “I’m on the Run” by WEARETHEGOOD and Frank Bentley. The song has AMAZING beats; it keeps you up and moving, head nodding and the lyrics are motivating and push you to just go hardIt’s a song that hits for good speed work or just getting out the door!

Nasara Gargonnu: "6 Foot 7 Foot" by Lil Wayne. The Rap flow keeps me hype, keeps my cadence, and keeps my legs moving!

Andrew Suski: “Enter Sandman” by Metallica. I coach my son’s soccer team and that is HYPE song before the game and trying to channel that energy!

Natalie Nicols: Dancing with Myself" by Maren Morris. It gives me the feelsand when I'm running it kind of gives me the vibes that I'm dancing with myself!

Dex Moore: “Intimidated” by Kaytranada ft. H.E.R. When I think of all of the adventures running can take me on, this song reminds me to not waste time thinking about it, when I could be doing it!

Chris Raup: "Higher” by CreedThis song gets me pumped up and ready to push up a tough climb deep into a run!

Selena Langner: “The Last of the Honeybees” by Sam Burchfield. It’s part of my go-to gravel riding playlist, and I love how the uplifting tone & playful words bring positive, happy vibes to my ride.

Aimee Jacobs: "It's On Again" by Alicia Keys and Kendrick Lamar. This was my theme song for Javelina Jundred. I dressed up as Wonder Woman, so it fit with the superhero theme. It also gave that extra push and motivation when things started to get hard out there.
