Where do you live and train?

Deer Lodge, MT is where I live and train. I train on trails in the mountains in summer and on dirt roads in the Winter.

Ideal training spot, conditions, companions?

Last summer I ran a hard workout  on a rolling dirt road inside the forests of Glacier National Park. The snow-capped peaks were visible in the far distance, after 20 miles my friends and I soaked in the cool river and ate pastries at a nearby bakery.

Years running, cycling, or competing? 25 years

What type of races do you prefer (i.e. trail ultras)?

Road Races. My favorite race is Bloomsday 12k in Spokane WA

How did you hear or find out about Injinji tetratsoks?

My mom gave them to me for Christmas two years ago and since then I have been hooked and can't race without them.

How long have you been wearing the tetratsoks? Two years

Your personal tetratsok of choice? The Mini Crew

How do the tsoks work for you, and what do you like best about them?

Wearing the tsoks on race day are undoubtedly as important to me as lacing up my racing shoes or doing my warm up. Without them, I would not have my best race. I like best that these tsoks prevent huge blisters to my feet.

How have the tetratsoks changed your experience training and competing?

The tsoks help me perform to my potential. Before I used them, I would get quarter sized blisters on my feet which hindered my race performance. I had to change my racing form due to the blisters. Now that I am using these tsoks, I have no blisters. Zero blisters!!!! I have raced the mile to a marathon in them with great success. I am so grateful that Injinji created these high performance socks.

What would you most like to accomplish athletically presently and/or long-term?

I would like to race 2:35 or faster in the marathon and be selected to represent USA in a World Championships marathon. I also hope to run sub 33 min on the track.

Testimonial:
I just wanted to give you a quick update on my progress. This year has been really fun. I traveled to Turkey for the World Mountain Running Championships and just returned from Africa to race the World Richest Mountain Race.

No blisters in any of my races this year - not one zero! I am amazed on how well the tsoks work for me!!

Thanks for all your continued support.
