From Injinji CEO, Joaquin Romay at the Carlsbad, CA Marathon Expo in 2002

How long have you been wearing the tetratsoks?

I have been wearing them since my first introduction to them in 2002

Your personal tetratsok of choice?

The original performance tsok!

How do the tsoks work for you, and what do you like best about them?

They move with my feet, they keep them dry and I do not have any problems between my toes.

How have the tetratsoks changed your experience training and competing?
I do not worry about my feet like I used to, at all.

Do you have a memorable experience or story about using the tetratsoks for training or competing? If so, please share it…..?

At my Badwater 2001 event, I got severe blisters starting at mile 20. At Badwater 2002 I used tsoks, and I had to drop at 50 miles due to medical problems… but my feet were perfect. At Badwater 2004, my feet were great.

What would you most like to accomplish athletically presently and/or long-term?

This year, I want to complete a triple Ironman. Long-term, I want to continue to be healthy enough to do whatever it is I want.

I am inspired by the challenge to push myself and to raise funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training.

Hammer Nutrition products—Perpetum is my favorite, but I use all of them. They are the best.

Advice you would give to someone just starting out running or cycling, or in a new sport in general?

You can do anything you set out to do, but knowledge is power. Read and research everything you can about the sport and events you want to do.

From a triathlete… he told me; “Be sure to wear a wetsuit for your (first) Ironman.”
