Long Haul 100 Long Haul 100 Ultra January 21st - 22nd, 2012
Wesley Chapel, FL

Haiti was devastated by a 7.0 magnitude earthquake on January 12, 2010 leaving the people of the western hemisphere’s poorest country in unimaginable hardship. With millions fleeing the capital (Port au Prince) and returning to the rural villages of their heritage, an agricultural vocation will be once again be adapted by many. The Haitian is no stranger to working the land. However, without access to basic farming tools, seeds, water, food preservation techniques, etc. they face an almost insurmountable task of feeding their relatives and making a living from their land. Women in rural Haiti are no better off. They are often the head of households with many children, with no opportunity to make an income. The race will benefit Praxis Haiti, a grassroots organization started by 3 Tampa Bay Area families. The 2011 LH100 raised over $10,000 to support the work of Praxis in Lavanneau, Haiti. So, whether you are running to beat your personal best or wanting to be a part of something that is bigger than just you, YOU can run knowing that 100% of the proceeds and any money you raise through fundraising (should you choose to do so) will make an EXTREME difference in the lives of those living in Lavanneau, Haiti.

This race will change YOU and HAITI!

Spartan Race Socal Spartan Race

January 28th, 2012

Temecula, CA

We couldn't have picked a better venue for our first Super Spartan. Water... yeah we have it; elevation gain and loss... yeah we got that too; you want single track mixed in with some double track and then some cross country.. okay, we got that also. Throw in some natural "muddy areas" and some terrain that will challenge even the most seasoned racer and you got yourself a fun course. The words "get you some!" come to mind. I have designed the course at Vail Lake so you will pass through the main event site mid-way through the course, so just when you think it is over... your loved ones will have to cheer you on for the second part of this 8 mile course.

The trail follows Awendaw Creek through a maritime forest and offers sweeping vistas of the salt marsh. The trailhead at Buck Hall National Recreation Area provides parking and bathroom facilities for trail users. A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to The Palmetto Conservation Foundation for trail maintenance.
